1. Acceptance of Terms

EduLearn Connect is the registered business behind TRAVVL HUNT ("the Platform") and the seller you contract with when using it. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

TRAVVL HUNT is a mobile-first platform for self-guided adventures. Users solve riddles, answer questions, and earn digital badges and certificates. Exploring real-world locations is optional, not required to complete a hunt. The optional feature survey helps us decide what to build next; it does not promise any future feature.

3. User Accounts

You may play as a guest or sign in with a one-time email link. We do not ask you to create a password. Keep access to your email account and sign-in links secure. Guest progress is stored in your browser and may be lost if you clear your browser data. You can change the email on your account in Settings; your purchases, scores, and badges stay with the same account. Erasing game history in Settings resets your progress, scores, badges, leaderboard entries and game reward points, but leaves your account, purchased hunt access and Blue Economy Contributor badges intact. You may instead delete your account in Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, game history and purchased hunt access. Signing up again with the same email creates a new account; purchases are not restored. Limited payment records without your account identity are retained for refunds, accounting and legal obligations.

4. Hunt Participation

  • Hunts can be played from one place; visiting real-world locations is optional. If you choose to explore, you are responsible for your personal safety at all times.
  • You must obey all local laws, respect private property, and follow any posted rules at locations you visit.
  • The Platform does not guarantee access to any specific location. Venues, landmarks, and businesses may change hours, close, or restrict entry without notice.
  • Do not trespass, enter restricted areas, or engage in unsafe behavior to complete any task.
  • Stay alert to traffic, pedestrians, and your surroundings. If you listen to music, keep the volume low enough to hear hazards and pause it when crossing streets. Never use your phone while driving.

5. Payments and Refunds

  • Certain hunts require a one-time purchase. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
  • Blue Impact is an optional contribution supporting Bahamian blue-economy initiatives. You can add it when buying a hunt, from a hunt you own, or on its own on the Impact page without an account. A contribution never unlocks a hunt or changes a score. TRAVVL HUNT is not a registered charity and contributions are not tax-deductible. Real contributions count toward a public running total. We share recipient and amount information when funds are passed on; individual purchases are not listed.
  • You may request a hunt refund within 14 days of purchase, including after opening it. Blue Impact contributions are normally non-refundable because funds may already be committed, except where law or Paddle's Buyer Terms require otherwise.   • Abandoned Sessions: If you purchase a hunt and do not complete it — whether you close the browser, leave the app, or otherwise abandon the session — your purchase remains valid. Purchases require sign-in and follow your account across devices. Guest play, where available, is stored only in your browser and may be lost if you clear browser data or switch devices.
  • EduLearn Connect is not responsible for lost progress due to cleared browser data, device changes, or use of private/incognito browsing without an account.

6. Guest Access

Guest users may participate in hunts without creating an account. Guest data — including hunt progress, scores, and earned badges — is stored locally on your device. This data is temporary and may be lost if you clear your browser, switch devices, or use private browsing mode. To preserve your progress, leaderboard ranking, and badges permanently, you must create an account before or after completing a hunt.

7. User Content

  • You may submit hunt answers, a display name, optional trip details, and feature survey answers including a written suggestion. Your survey answers and trip details are not shown on the leaderboard. Leaderboard display names and scores are visible to other travelers.
  • Content Standards: Display names must not be obscene, offensive, impersonating, or illegal. EduLearn Connect may remove or rename any entry that breaks these standards without notice.
  • Retention: Registered users keep their scores and badges as part of their account history. Guest results live only in that device's browser and are lost if the browser data is cleared.

8. Badges and Certificates

Digital badges are provided for personal enjoyment and as a record of your experience. They do not represent any non-credit bearing professional certification, accreditation, or monetary value.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including hunt designs, riddles, task descriptions, branding, and software — is the property of EduLearn Connect and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is." EduLearn Connect is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in hunts, reliance on location information, or use of the Platform, to the extent permitted by law. You acknowledge that outdoor activities carry inherent risks. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform.
