1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Travvl Hunt ("the Platform"), operated by EduLearn Connect, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Travvl Hunt is a self-guided, mobile-first adventure platform that provides location-based treasure hunts for travelers. Users solve riddles, explore real-world locations, answer trivia, riddles, and timed fill-in-the-blanks, and earn digital badges and certificates upon completion.
3. User Accounts
You may use the Platform as a guest or create an account via email or social login. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Guest progress is stored locally on your device and may be lost if you clear your browser data.
4. Hunt Participation
- Hunts involve visiting real-world locations. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for your personal safety at all times.
- You must obey all local laws, respect private property, and follow any posted rules at locations you visit.
- The Platform does not guarantee access to any specific location. Venues, landmarks, and businesses may change hours, close, or restrict entry without notice.
- Do not trespass, enter restricted areas, or engage in unsafe behavior to complete any task.
5. Payments and Refunds
- Certain hunts require a one-time purchase. Payments are processed by Paddle, our third-party payment provider, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Your payment statement may show Paddle as the seller.
- If you have not started the hunt, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at info@edulearnconnect.com. Once a hunt has been started, it is no longer eligible for a refund. See our Refund Policy for full details.
- Abandoned Sessions: If you purchase a hunt and do not complete it — whether you close the browser, leave the app, or otherwise abandon the session — your purchase remains valid and the hunt stays accessible on the same device and browser. However, as a guest user, your progress is stored locally and is not recoverable if you clear your browser data or switch devices. Creating an account ensures your purchase and progress are saved permanently.
- EduLearn Connect is not responsible for lost progress due to cleared browser data, device changes, or use of private/incognito browsing without an account.
6. Guest Access
Guest users may participate in hunts without creating an account. Guest data — including hunt progress, scores, and earned badges — is stored locally on your device. This data is temporary and may be lost if you clear your browser, switch devices, or use private browsing mode. To preserve your progress, leaderboard ranking, and badges permanently, you must create an account before or after completing a hunt.
7. User Content
- The only content you submit is your answers and, if you choose to appear on a leaderboard, a display name. Leaderboard display names are public to other travelers.
- Content Standards: Display names must not be obscene, offensive, impersonating, or illegal. EduLearn Connect may remove or rename any entry that breaks these standards without notice.
- Retention: Registered users keep their scores and badges as part of their account history. Guest results live only in that device's browser and are lost if the browser data is cleared.
8. Badges and Certificates
Digital badges and completion certificates are provided for personal enjoyment and as a record of your experience. They do not represent any professional certification, accreditation, or monetary value.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including hunt designs, riddles, task descriptions, branding, and software — is the property of EduLearn Connect and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is." EduLearn Connect is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in hunts, reliance on location information, or use of the Platform. You acknowledge that outdoor activities carry inherent risks.
11. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform.
